Thank you for praying for Esther ... God answered your prayers and she recovered well from her shunt surgery. She didn't miss a beat and was wanting to eat a couple hours after ... she loves her food. She is now off her oxygen and able to get out of the nursery and stay with her mom in the ward. We visited mom today in her "room" and she had the biggest smile on her face. God is good. She will probably go home next week. We will miss seeing her when we come in every morning - she is a special baby and God preserved her life through your prayers.

Hey there ladies! I really enjoy your blog. Esther is sure a pretty little girl and I loved the smile on her mom's face when she was going home. Yes, Esther is special. How can anyone not believe that there is a God and His name is Jesus. I'm so glad to hear that your relationship with the nurses is getting closer. You take care and your in my thoughts and heart.
Yeah for Esther! I think of you both often. I am sure all of the education you guys are providing is invaluable to the NICU in Africa. Keep up the good work!
